OUR STORY
After creating candles and soaps for personal use and gifting to family and friends, our Curator received enthusiastic feedback and repeated supply requests to produce more. Our Curator then established Gwenda Creations as a vehicle to further expand production, to share their favorite scented candles for others to enjoy, and to try and help those with similar cleansing challenges with a soap that is kind to skin.
CANDLE JOURNEY
Our Curator has always enjoyed scented candles in their home and office spaces, and after being a retail consumer for many years, they started to research the ingredients in the products they purchased. From this investigation, they discovered that there were alternative ingredients and scents available that were better for the environment and the humans that encounter them. All Gwenda Creations candles are natural soy based, providing you a longer burn time, while remaining free of invisible toxic fumes or a black discharge, that other candles may produce.
SIMPLIFYING SOAP
A similar research path was also pursued when our Curator started to have adverse reactions to some of the daily soap based skin cleansing products that they had been using. This investigation also led to the development of products that would cleanse and nourish the skin without irritation. All Gwenda Creations soaps are produced with bases of rich natural vegetable oils that give a indulgent creamy feel with nourishing qualities that aid the skin in retaining moisture.
OUR MOTIVATION
Our passion to provide clean and high quality products at a reasonable price fuel our dedication allocating the time, attention, and love that goes into producing each individual candle and bar of soap.
